Who I am
My name is Alba Sort. I provide AI advisory and literacy services through this website, albasort.com.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, I am the data controller for any personal data collected through this site.
If you have any questions about this policy or how I handle your data, you can contact me at: info@albasort.com
What data I collect and why
1. Booking a discovery call: When you book a call through the scheduling tool on this site (powered by Google Calendar), Google collects your name, email address, and any other details you provide when submitting the booking form (such as a message or your organisation name). This data is used solely to arrange and conduct the call you requested. Legal basis: Legitimate interests; processing your request to book a meeting. Google is the data processor for this information. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
2. Website analytics: This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited and how people find the site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including your approximate location, browser type, device type, and pages visited. It does this using cookies. Your IP address is collected by Google but anonymised before storage. I do not use this data to identify individual visitors. Legal basis: Legitimate interests; understanding how the site performs so I can improve it. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies
This site uses cookies in two ways:
- Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics to track anonymous usage data (as described above)
- Functional cookies, set by Google Calendar when you use the booking tool
Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect how parts of this site work.
Who I share your data with
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. The only third party who may process your data is Google for booking requests via Google Calendar, and for analytics via Google Analytics Both are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
How long I keep your data for
Booking data: retained in Google Calendar for as long as necessary to manage our working relationship, or until you request deletion.
Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics for 14 months (the minimum standard setting), after which it is automatically deleted.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:

- Correct any inaccurate data
